Happy Easter, everyone! If you celebrate, anyway. I went to church with my parents this morning, so that was nice.
This post is really just an excuse to show off the watch I'm going to buy next time I'm in JC Penney.
My geek, let me show you it.I have never seen a more beautiful watch. Teege and Sam witnessed my geekgasm when I stumbled upon that watch in the store a few days ago. It was messy.
In fannish news:
I found out last night, thanks to a comment from
saturnianlove, that Mizushima Hiro got married to the singer Ayaka. She sings "
Okaeri," the song from the drama
Zettai Kareshi (starring Mizushima! haha!). I knew they were dating, but somehow missed the wedding announcement earlier this month. I would whine about such a
lovely,
lovely man getting married, but it's prompted me to listen to Ayaka's music again, and I can't complain about that. She's a talented chick, and it's a darn shame she's had to put her career on hold to deal with Grave's Disease. I hope she gets better. She and Utada Hikaru (just for kicks, have a link to "
Flavor of Life") are the only female Japanese artists I enjoy.
Anyway, I'm happy for Mizushima Hiro and Ayaka. They're both lovely people. :)
I'm going to spend the day watching
Star Trek episodes. But first, I'm going to make curry. Yum!
